Very little. Once your configuration process is complete, the system will work 24 hours a day to not only save man power and energy dollars, but also can monitor to monitor your BAS for possible problems or conditions requiring immediate attention and potential cost avoidance related to large facilities.
CommLogix utilizes your existing BAS equipment. There is a small amount of programming required within your BAS. Once your BAS is programmed, all configuration work is done through the CommLogix web site. This process involves associating your pre-existing SchoolDude areas to the corresponding BAS zones you have set up in your BAS.
No. The CommLogix tools can be added at anytime without any training for the teachers or school staff. The HVAC Engineer simply associates the SchoolDude areas to the BAS points or zones and CommLogix takes it from there.
Usually a 60 minute web based conference with a member of the CommLogix Technical team is all that is needed for the HVAC Engineer or Technician.
